About
If you're here, that means you want to know more about me! 😉
Here's my story:
I grew up in Iraq and moved to the US in 2015. My family has always valued education and hard work. I worked as a Telecommunications Engineer for a few years before attending graduate school at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, in 2019.
Graduate school has always been a dream of mine. I had the opportunity to work on various projects involving Computer Vision and Machine Learning, and I fell in love with these fields. Solving challenging problems and being part of groundbreaking work was amazing. After two years, I received a scholarship to pursue a PhD, and I couldn't say no!

As a Graduate Research Assistant, I worked on various problems and collaborated with various universities and companies to deliver software products and solutions to government agencies, which made the work both exciting and challenging.

In my free time, I love reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, running, mountain biking, and snowboarding in winter.
I also like marathons.
